What's inside

Six modules. One running total.

Every feature exists to answer one question honestly: how much do I actually have left?

Categorized transactions

Log spending and income in seconds, tag it by category, and attach a status so pending charges never get counted twice.

Budgets with alerts

Set a monthly ceiling per category. Shwee Shaung nudges you before you cross it, not after the damage is done.

Group expense splitting

Create a group, join by invite code, and split a bill evenly or by custom amounts. Settle up partially and everyone still sees the true balance.

Custom categories

Create, rename, and organize your own categories instead of a fixed template, so the ledger matches how you actually think about money.

Reports & analytics

See spending broken down by category and by month, so patterns show up before they become a habit you regret.

Recurring transactions

Rent, subscriptions, salary — set it once and Shwee Shaung logs it on schedule automatically, every month.

The daily loop

From receipt to report, in four steps

01

Sign in with Google

No new password to remember. One tap and your ledger is ready, synced to your account.

02

Log a transaction

Add an expense or income, and file it under a category — one of yours, set up exactly how you organize money.

03

Watch the budget bar

Each category shows how much runway is left this month, with an alert before you overspend it.

04

Review the report

At month-end, open Reports to see exactly where the money went, category by category.

About us

Built by someone who was tired of guessing.

Shwee Shaung started as a straightforward question: where does the money actually go each month? What began as a personal tracking tool grew into a full production application — a Laravel API on the backend, a Flutter app on the front, and every feature shaped by a real month of real spending.

It's developed independently, end to end: architecture, backend services, mobile UI, and the server it now runs on. This site is the app's home base — for downloads, updates, and everything in between.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is Shwee Shaung free?

Yes. The app is free to download and use, with no ads and no premium tier.

Do I need an internet connection?

Stay connected to track your spending. The app requires internet to log and sync transactions instantly.

Is my data private?

Your ledger is tied to your Google account and stored on the app's own server — it isn't shared with third parties.

Why isn't it on the Play Store yet?

It's currently distributed as a direct APK while it goes through final testing. Play Store listing is planned for a future release.

How do group settlements work?

Anyone in a group can mark a partial or full settlement. Balances update for everyone in the group immediately, so there's one shared source of truth.
